Uses & Indications

Storage Requirements

Store at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F); do not freeze. Protect from light. Once reconstituted, use within 24 hours if stored at room temperature or within 48 hours if refrigerated.

Dosage Information

Adult Dose

3.6 mg/kg administered as an intravenous infusion every three weeks (for metastatic breast cancer) or 8 mg/kg as an initial dose followed by 6 mg/kg every three weeks (for adjuvant treatment).

Pediatric Dose

Safety and efficacy have not been established in pediatric patients; not recommended for use in this population.

Side Effects

Common side effects include nausea, fatigue, headache, diarrhea, and infusion-related reactions. Serious side effects may include cardiotoxicity, liver toxicity, and pulmonary toxicity.

Contraindications & Precautions
