Hypersensitivity to fingolimod or any component of the formulation; history of myocardial infarction, unstable angina, stroke, transient ischemic attack, or decompensated heart failure; concurrent use of Class Ia or Class III antiarrhythmic drugs; severe untreated sleep apnea
Important Warnings
Risk of serious infections, including progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML); monitor heart rate for at least 6 hours after the first dose; liver function tests should be performed before and during treatment; avoid live vaccines during treatment and for 2 months after discontinuation.
